This program is a service-oriented, volunteer-based program created to enrich the relationship between the military and civilian community of Carlisle and the surrounding areas.  This program INFORMS interested USAWC active duty, retirees, civilians and families of volunteer opportunities available. If you have any question about an opportunity, contact the POC listed.

Launch Pad

Launch Pad, an 8000 square feet of living space aimed to serve the very under-served population.  Located at 31 E Main St, Newville,  is looking for volunteers to lead cleaning projects as they prepare their new facility. They are also looking for volunteers interested in sanding floors, having experience and equipment are a plus. Contact them at, lia@launchpadil.com.

Looking for a great way to give back to your community? Look no further. DVSCP has several volunteer opportunities available! Lifecycle Carlise is in need of 2 things:

1. Bikes! We are completely out of men’s adult bikes. Help get the word out. Donations can be dropped off at NLC Tuesday through Friday 9-3.

2. Volunteers are needed to help work in the LifeCycle shop. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 11am- 3pm. Some Saturday hours as well.
 

Meals on Wheels

Always looking for volunteers.  Carlisle Meals on Wheels has been delivering hot nutritious meals to residents in need since 1968. 
 

Safe Harbour

Volunteers are always welcome at Safe Harbour and there are many ways you can lend a helping hand to residents and staff. Volunteers are needed to assist residents, provide transportation, help with work projects and other activities.
