Buses depart the PX parking lot at 8:30 am for this wildly popular annual trek to Pottsville, PA and the Yuengling Brewery -- America's oldest working brewery. Experience nearly 200 years of American brewing history. Discover the famous hand-dug caves that were used for beer fermentation before refrigeration. Take in the iconic brew house with its breath-taking stained glass ceiling. Learn how the Yuengling family survived Prohibition at the adjacent creamery. Taste several varieties of Yuengling beer, many that you won't find anywhere else. Shop in the unique gift shop, and hope to rub elbows with the eclectic members of the Yuengling family. After leaving the brewery, the history and fun continue at Roma Pizza, where you'll enjoy the finest Old-World style wood fired pizza in Pennsylvania. The Touristas Bus will return to the PX parking lot by 4 pm. The cost for this Touristas trip is $40/person, which includes bus transportation, the Yuengling Brewery tour, and lunch at Roma Pizza.
