Mardi Gras Virtual Cooking Class

Our very own MWR Executive Chef, Megan Foose, will be conducting a LIVE Virtual Cook-a-Long featuring Red Beans and Rice and Drop Biscuits with a chocolate gravy or raspberry compote. She will be walking us through the recipe as we all cook in our own homes--we can be Covid safe AND still have fun!

In an effort to make this as easy as possible, we have assembled cooking kits with all of the ingredients pre-measured and ready to go! All you need to do is swing by the LVCC between 1100-1130, Feb 16th, and pick up your tote full of ingredients. 

We will open the Zoom session at 1130 and begin cooking at 1145. There will be time before instruction begins for any questions. 

 

The show outline, recipe, and list of ingredients will be available in your cooking kit.

If you care to imbibe in alcohol during this session, Megan recommends a Pinot Noir for red wine fans or a Chardonnay for white wine conniseurs. 

Tickets for this event and Opportunity Prizes may be purchased through Cheddar Up.  If you would prefer to pay in cash or check, you may do so when you pick up your cooking kit. Any purchased opportunity tickets will be distributed in the kits as well.
